Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Sanayile account. You can delete it yourself inside the app, or send us a request by email.

1. Delete from the app (fastest)

1. Open the Sanayile app.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Open Settings.
4. Tap Delete Account at the bottom. A small addition question is asked so nothing is deleted by accident.
5. Enter the answer and tap Delete Account Permanently.

Deletion starts immediately; no further approval is needed.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, write to sanayile.team@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. After verifying your identity we complete the request within 30 days at the latest.

3. Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are removed:

• Your name, email address, phone number and profile details
• Your favourite shops and saved vehicles
• Your reviews and ratings
• Messages you sent to shops
• Notification preferences and device records (the app stops sending notifications)
• If you are a shop owner: your shop is unpublished

4. Data kept for a limited time

Some records are kept a while longer for legal obligations and abuse prevention. They are not linked to your identity and are never used for marketing:

• Billing and subscription records: if you purchased Pro, tax law requires 10 years. These records also exist in the Apple/Google stores.
• Security and abuse records: reported content and access logs, at most 1 year.
• Aggregated statistics: counts such as "how many times this shop was viewed today". These are not personal data, contain no information about who you are, and are not deleted.

5. Deleting part of your data without closing the account

If you want to keep your account but remove some content, you can delete these individually:

• Your reviews: Profile > My Reviews > the review > Delete
• Your vehicles: Profile > My Cars > the car > Delete
• Your applications: Profile > My Applications > the application > Delete
• Your shop content: remove services, products, campaigns and photos from the Manage Shop screen
